Woodrow WilsonI was honored to be nominated for the Dr Wentz Vision Award and was presented with this award at the USANA International Convention last week in Salt Lake City.

 

It is the most meaningful award I have ever been nominated for because of the high regard I have for Dr Wentz and  his humanitarian contirbutions and his research in human cell culture technology and infectious disease diagnoses. Dr. Wentz has a heart for children and has extensively supported the Children’s Hunger Fund through his medical missionary efforts.

 

I am honored and humbled to be considered part of the huge vision of creating health!

 

What I know is Dr Wentz is BEING the change we wish to see in the world by translating his vision in action! In 1992, he founded Usana Health Sciences which manufactures the highest quality nutritional supplements. Continuing his journey, in 1997 he  established Sanoviv Medical Institute, a state-of-the-art medical facility with an approach to holistic healing including body, mind and spirit. IN 2005, Dr. Wentz funded a state-of-the-art medical center for the diagnosis and prevention of disease in Africa. This medical facility provides service to a community of 300,000 people, many of whom suffer from HIV/AIDS or have been orphaned by the disease. The facility also provides educational training and diagnostic care for women and children, including testing for HIV, malaria and intestinal viruses.

 In June 2007, Dr. Wentz received the Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Life Sciences.
