  • Mindfulness, like meditation, is linked to better heart health
  • Movement
  • Music
  • Meaningful Social Connections
In this episode I discuss the fact that emotions are “energy in motion” and we have all ranges of emotions throughout the day.. even minute to minute. There are no “good” or “bad” emotions.

Acknowledging Our Emotions

It is important to acknowledge and claim ALL our emotions.. not just the so-called positive ones. Anger, grief, fear are not “negative” in themselves, in fact they are vital for our survival. we need anger to define boundaries, grief to deal with our losses, and fear to protect us from  danger. It is when these feelings are denied so that they cannot be moved through  the body and released, that the situations becomes toxic. The more we deny emotions, the greater the ultimate toxicity. Pent up emotions can be damaging to ourselves and others.

Keep Your Emotions Flowing

When your emotions are moving, the “molecules of emotion” are flowing and you can experience feelings of freedom, joy and hopefulness because you are in a “whole” state. DID YOU MISS PART 1? LISTEN HERE
