Australian Wins Tour de France and my daughter witnesses it

There are no accidents!

Yesterday my 17 year old daughter, Kelsey,  flew to Paris for a 10 day trip  with her High School French class and she arrived into Paris the day that  Cadel Evans became the first Australian to win the Tour de France. Last year, Cadel was leading the race but crashed and fractured his left elbow. The pain was too much and he dropped out of contention in tears, ultimately finishing 50 minutes behind winner Alberto Contador.

In her French class her name is AUSTRALIE because there is another Kelsey in her class. She texted me from Paris today saying she watched the Tour! What an amazing experience for her!
